Support
Something not working, or something you'd like changed? Write to
support@emmada.dev and say which game, which device (for example
"iPad, 9th generation" or "Galaxy A15") and what happened. A real person answers, usually within a day or two.
Common questions
- Where are the grown-up settings?
- Behind the gear on the home screen. It asks a sum written in words ("what is fourteen times three?") so a
child can't tap through. Type the answer on the number pad.
- How do I set up more than one child?
- In the grown-up settings, under Children, tap Add a child. Each child gets an animal picture,
their own level, stars and stickers. With two or more children, the home screen shows the pictures so a child
can tap their own. No names are needed.
- The voice isn't playing.
- Check the switch on the side of an iPhone or iPad: our apps play through the silent switch, but the volume
can still be all the way down. In the grown-up settings, check that Voice is on. If the game ever shows
a screen saying "The voice didn't play", that's a bug on our side: please send us a photo of it.
- Can I turn off the cheering, the music, or the confetti?
- Yes. In the grown-up settings: Less talk keeps the questions and numbers and drops the praise lines,
Music and Sound effects have their own switches, and Calm mode removes the confetti and
anything that pulses and softens the "try again" sound. The apps also follow your device's reduce-motion setting.
- I bought the unlock on one device. How do I get it on another?
- Purchases are tied to the Apple ID or Google account that made them. On the other device, sign in with the
same account, open the grown-up settings and tap Restore purchases. With Family Sharing (Apple) or
Google Play Family Library, everyone in the family gets it.
- How do I get a refund?
- Refunds are handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or
Google Play (Play refunds), not by us,
because we never see your payment. If something about the purchase went wrong, tell us anyway and we'll help.
- Can I reset a child's progress?
- Yes, in the grown-up settings: Reset this child's stars & stickers. It asks first. Progress is kept
on the device only, so deleting the app also removes it.
- Does the app need the internet?
- No. Everything is in the app, and it works in airplane mode. When the device is online, the app sends us a
few anonymous counts (rounds played, errors) when it's opened and put away. That's the only thing it ever
connects to, and the privacy policy lists exactly what's in it.
- What does "Share anonymous usage" do, and can I turn it off?
- It's the switch for those counts, in the grown-up settings. Off means nothing is sent, and anything waiting
to go is discarded. There are no names, IDs or device details in the counts either way; the switch is there
because it should be your choice.
Found a bug?
The quickest way: in the grown-up settings, tap Report a problem. It opens an email to us with the
app's version, the device's system and the app's last few steps already filled in; add what happened and tap
Send. Nothing goes anywhere until you do. Or just write to
support@emmada.dev; the app's version is at the
bottom of the grown-up settings, and a screenshot or a short video helps most.
