Emmada Studioa family making games

The games

Everything here is played in our house first. The store links appear as each game is released; until then the games live in our family's library. Status: coming means the app is built and heading for the stores; in the workshop means we're still making it.

For kids

Made for 2- to 6-year-olds to play alone: no reading needed, big tap targets, nothing scary, and losing is gentle or absent.

Math Meadow

Early math: add ducks, take away ice cream scoops, hop a frog along the number line, guess the jelly beans in the jar, pick the longer snake, finish the pattern. Every question read aloud; a sticker every round; a profile for every child.

Word Meadow

Early phonics: letter sounds, finger tracing (print, words, cursive) and first words, all read aloud.

coming

Monkey Leap

Fling a monkey from tree to tree: drag back, aim, let go. A troop of monkeys leaps around with you.

coming

Bubble Buggy

Drive over hills and pop letters and numbers in order, in nine rides from a bus to a fire truck.

in the workshop

Jingle Jobs

Help Santa get ready for Christmas Eve: build toys, feed the reindeer by name, roll a snowman, decorate the tree, light up a house, wrap presents and bake cookies with Mrs. Claus, then fly the sleigh over the rooftops. A voice says what to do; a sticker book to fill.

coming for Christmas

Hello School

The first day of pre-K as a picture book: the bus and the goodbye at the door, your own cubby, circle time, waiting for a turn, snack, the cozy corner, the slide, rest time, a story and pick-up. A warm teacher's voice says what comes next; every choice is a good one and every feeling is okay. Kindergarten and first-grade days too.
